A four-year-old girl has died after the trailer she was riding on behind an all-terrain-vehicle became detached and flipped.

The girl was riding on a utility trailer with a three-year-old and 10-year-old child Monday on the Ahtahkakoop First Nation. The trailer was being pulled behind a 400cc ATV driven by an 11-year-old boy.

RCMP say the trailer overturned after becoming detached from the ATV.
